CYLINDER BEACH

Public BBQ

Cylinder Beach on North Stradbroke Island features pristine white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters perfect for swimming year-round. The north-facing beach stays protected from prevailing southeasterly swells, creating calm conditions ideal for families. Large shallow areas and natural lagoons separated by sandbars provide safe swimming zones, while lifeguard patrol ensures additional safety. Excellent facilities include ample parking, clean restrooms, hot showers, and a coffee van. The nearby Straddie Hotel provides refreshments within walking distance, making this secluded beach a complete destination for day trips or camping holidays.
